Perfect for babies that don’t like watery baby food – I originally got them for traveling but after trying them out tonight on my twins they loved them so much I’ll probably find myself grabbing them more often. They don’t really eat the jar baby food well I think its because it’s so watery, with these pouches I can but as much liquid as I want to and either add breastmilk or water to it. Will be buying more!

Overall a great option – My son really enjoyed this food! It took a lot of formula/water to get the consistency right, it is very thick, but once we figured it out, he ate it all! We’ve been having trouble with getting him to eat the fruits because other brands we’ve tried are sour or tangy but this one didn’t have any of those issues. It’s not all that convenient but it is a nice option to add to our rotation for on the weekends when we have a little more time. I will definitely be ordering more flavors in the future.

Good idea, but baby didn’t like it – I got a free sample from Amara in exchange for reviewing. I really like the idea of this product, it is nice to have something in the pantry/diaper bag that is shelf stable and light and I appreciate the quality level. It definitely will make me feel better to carry a packet in the diaper bag in case we get stuck somewhere without appropriate baby food.

Healthy, easy, and yummy food for baby! – Our baby liked this pumpkin pear Amara food on her first time trying it! It’s cool that it is a powder, as it is easy for travel. You can mix it with whatever you wish. We actually only gave her half of a packet to start, as she doesn’t eat much yet. It is a bit expensive if your baby eats one whole packet at a time. Also, I wish it could last a few days after it has been mixed. But despite this, I would recommend Amara! Good flavor, organic, and no added sugar.

These pouches were very convenient to use to create the consistency that I wanted. I’m guessing that my daughter likes it since she will eat the whole serving.

These pouches were very convenient to use to create the consistency that I wanted. I’m guessing that my daughter likes it since she will eat the whole serving.

Different option – As a mom, I liked the organic ingredients and real food. I try to make most of my baby’s foods, but I don’t always have the time. I’m not a fan of most of the jars and pouches. The Amara organic food is a powder that you mix to whatever consistency your baby is on. I liked that versatility. We tried lumpy so she could pick it up with her fingers, smooth to scoop with a spoon, and thin to spread on toast. I did freeze 2/3 the first packet since it said to use in one sitting. My baby doesn’t eat enough to consume a whole packet. She didn’t like it defrosted but I only tried that one time. For that reason I don’t think I would buy more if she didn’t absolutely love the flavor, if I have to toss half or more of each serving when it costs that much more than what I could steam and mash up. We got the pumpkin flavor and she wasn’t a huge fan unfortunately. I might try a sweeter flavor and see what she thinks.

You won’t regret it! – I wish I could leave a review for the brand as a whole. I have ordered several different flavors and they’re all amazing. I am a working mother of a one-year-old and i’m literally making it up as I go. I was lucky for the first year because I could keep him alive on breastmilk and formula but now he needs more to keep him healthy and these pouches glorious goodness help me feel confident that I’m giving him something organic and healthy and without having to scour 1 million Pinterest posts, read five books and ask three doctors on how to keep him the most healthy.
