I really want to love this product… but I can’t. – I really appreciate better quality ingredients in this product and lower exposure to toxic chemicals commonly found in other types of sunscreens not only for myself but mainly for my kids. That was the principal reason why I purchased. However, despite better ingredients I had to return this product for a few reasons. It’s a somewhat runny consistency, yet thick at the same time, if that makes any sense and I found it very difficult to spread evenly onto my skin, let alone my kids’ skin. What’s worse was it’s even more difficult to wash off. After showering and scrubbing my skin I could still see the white lotion remaining. Not great. I’m willing to deal with this to an extent since it is a mineral based, zinc oxide formula so it will always be somewhat like that, but, I’m not willing to struggle daily trying to wash it off. Also, the packaging for this product could be much improved by switching to a pump style bottle with a locking cap, instead of a tube with a flimsy cap which the lotion leaks out and leaves a mess. I’m picky with things like that admittedly because I use sunscreen several times a day, every day, all of these reasons were why I sent it back.
