If you’re considering this, get it. For real. – If you’re looking at this product because you want to stop pulling poopy clothes over your kid’s head (and/or changing sheets and/or changing your own clothes because you keep getting blown out on), order it now. I’m writing this immediately following my daughter’s worst blowout of all time. This is the first time she’s had one since I bought this, and GUYS, the carnage was MASSIVE, but it was fully contained. I’m amazed. (I have photos, but I don’t think Amazon would appreciate me attaching them).

Great product – Definitely helps! Only downside is that its still a mess to clean up, but you can’t really get around that . It saves tops, but not pants of course if things come out the legs of the diaper. Works best with onesies B.C. it will bunch up if wearing a shirt that isn’t attached to anything. GREAT PRODUCT though. Should come in a package of 2 so u have something while one is in wash

Good for overnight and morning poops – Worked pretty well! Our baby at the time couldn’t roll onto his tummy and every single morning woke up with a poop! Needless to say it was up his back and through all his clothes and onto the bed. This helped a handful of times absorb or prevent total up the back or all the way to the sheets. Stopped using once he rolled to his tummy because then his morning poops ended up going toward the front of his diaper lol. Good temporary fix!

Sanity saver! – I don’t ever write reviews, but this product is totally worth it because it has saved my sanity!!! For the past month, my 6 mo son was blowing out of his diapers on a DAILY basis and there wasn’t a day that I wasn’t crying tears of frustration over soaking one more outfit in stain remover. I had come to my wits end trying everything (bigger size diaper, different brands, diaper cover) and I was still losing the breast milk poo battle. I came across the Blowout Blocker and thought I had nothing left to try, so I bought it. It’s been the best $$ I’ve spent! It’s soft, fits nicely around baby’s middle, and is not bulky under clothing. My family recently traveled and I had the Blowout Blocker on my son during our flight, just in case. I’m glad I did because he had a blowout and I had no mess to clean in that tiny bathroom and no stress over trying to get new clothes on him. This is one happy momma!

Works great for blowouts – I saw this product featured in a baby magazine while pregnant and ordered one to see if it actually worked. I didn’t end up using it the first few weeks, but that quickly changed once my daughter had her first blowout. Anyone who has ever experienced a blowout knows that they can be quite messy. This product has a velcro strap in the front that keeps it in place and also allows for adjustment as the baby gets bigger. It’s important to secure this snug on the baby (and overlapping the diaper). If it’s not snug the blowout blocker tends to ride up on my baby, which creates a gap in between the diaper and the blocker, which defeats the purpose. When it’s on properly, it really does work, and prevents poop from getting on my daughter’s clothes. When my daughter does have a blowout, I just take off the blocker, rinse off the damage and spray it with stain remover right away and then toss it in with the rest of her laundry. It comes out surprisingly clean and can be used over and over. I rotate between a few and use them daily. Even if you don’t want to use it all the time, I think it’s a great product to use for special occasions in case you are worried about a particular outfit getting stained (think holidays, baptisms, when you are out in public, etc).
