Bugs – One of two sponges had bugs in them. I would recommend before product use to rinse with hot water. Put the sponge in a clear glass bowl with water and shine a flashlight from the bottom up to see if there are any bugs before use. Disappointed that one of them had bugs but other than that the one that didn’t was great!

Highly recommend – I was all for using baby rags for my babies, but my husband talked me into getting a natural sponge. I came to Amazon over a year ago when my son was born and purchased this one. This time, I’m purchasing two: one for our growing toddler, and another for our soon-to-be newborn. This sponge lasted us a year and kept its shape. It is so soft when wet and it holds the soap very well. I’m a little sad it’s not amazon prime eligible, but it should still be here for the baby’s born. I couldn’t imagine using anything else.

LOVE!! Will be repurchasing. – I love this thing. I use it for my toddlers. Since it hardens when dried, I damp it a little so I can get their knees first while it’s still a little hard, once it’s soaked it softens and it gets the job done! Once I’m done I rinse it and squeeze several times to get all soap out and then I remove it from the shower to my restroom countertop so that it dries but also doesn’t stay soaked in water over night. Still use it. Doesn’t smell. Don’t have the need to reorder yet but I should just for backup.

This is the best Natural Sea sponge ever! – This sea sponge is very easy to clean and very soft once it’s wet. I love that it’s super absorbent and I can use it to pour water on my son, because he usually takes my cup away. After I am done showering him I ring it out and dab it on his wet skin and it absorbs most of the wetness and I don’t have a super wet towel and an almost dry toddler. After bath, I just make sure no soap is left and I put it to dry for the next time. It has a wonderful sea water smell, but it’s not overwhelmingly smelly.

Very nice for a baby – I don’t know much about sea sponges or the difference between the wool and regular ones, but this one is very soft. It is marked as a wool sea sponge on the packaging. I did notice a bad smell coming from the sponge that I cannot describe. I’m sure that after a few uses with some scented bath soap the smell will go away. Overall this sponge is the perfect size for my 15 month old son and is soft enough not to scratch his sensitive skin. What I like about sea sponges is that I read they don’t grow mold or bacteria like synthetic bathing sponges do and they are supposed to last longer than the synthetic versions as well. All I know is that using this sponge in the bath makes it easier for me to bathe my son & it is the perfect size.

Rejuvenate Your Sponge! – Love this sponge. It have used this sponge to wash my face twice per day for the last year and it’s still going strong! Do not throw away. Each week, I soak my sponge with baking soda and water, rinse well and let dry in the sun. Love it!
