I expected better. – I expected better from Burt’s Bees. It has a slight chemical small, but it’s not too distracting. It isn’t very thick, but it seems to rinse clean.

My favorite – My favorite gentle soap for babies and kids. Smells so good, makes me smile when my kids get out of the bath smelling like this wonderful bubble/soap.

This stuff lasts forever and has never irritated our child’s … – This stuff lasts forever and has never irritated our child’s skin or scalp. It does sting a fair bit if it gets in your eyes, but even “tear free” shampoo tends to do that, so I can’t knock any stars off for that. The fragrance is mild and pleasant, and it foams well without being overwhelming or stripping. I’ve used this in a pinch when I ran out of body wash and also had no issues with it, which is impressive considering I’m allergic to many things commonly found in shampoos and soaps. We’ll keep repurchasing this wash without a doubt.

Smells great! – With all the crazy hype about cancer-causing ingredients in Johnson & Johnson products, we decided to try this brand as well as Babyganics. I love both, but this one smells much more like a baby in my opinion! I love smelling my son’s hair after the bath when we use this stuff.

Nice shampoo – I love the smell of this shampoo. It smells like honey. It could be a little thicker though. I end up using a lot more because of that (one point off for that). But I love how my hair looks and feels, and I like the no-tears part.

Best baby shampoo I’ve used yet – This shampoo is absolutely amazing. My daughter has very sensitive skin and this doesn’t irritate her at all. The scent is almost a mix of that original baby shampoo smell mixed with honey, it’s so wonderful I smell her head all night after I give her a bath. This has also worked wonders on her cradle cap, within a couple baths it had reduced significantly. The ingredients are mostly natural, which was a big selling point for me. We will definitely be using this for a while.

Love the smell – I have been on the search for great baby cream and shampoo since I stopped using J&J. Loved the cream and smell but the ingredients not so much. So I started the search with no satisfaction until I found Baby Bee! Love the light honey smell and thick cream consistency. The shampoo cleans great and lathers well. I tried the calming scent first but prefer the original scent. Would highly recommend both shampoo and cream.

I got Hives from this Clorox Subsidiary – Did you know that Clorox purchased Burt’s Bees several years ago? I hadn’t noticed any drastic changes in their products. Until now. I purchased the “tear free” Baby Bee Shampoo & Wash. I received a tear-free “calming” formula that had a “NEW” designation on the label. Even though I have very sensitive skin, I wasn’t concerned because I’ve used Burt’s Bees products for more than 10 years with no problems whatsoever. Well, the shampoo & wash was tear-free for my 2-year-old son, but not for me. A few hours after I gave him a bath, I noticed red dots on my hands. Hives. Over the next several days, the hives only grew worse. Three days after the bath, they started bleeding and got darker and puffier. Now, five days later, they’re still extremely visible and painful but aren’t quite as inflamed. If you’ve never had hives, they’re pretty painful. It’s excruciating to wash my hands (and, with a 2-year-old in the house, I was my hands a lot!), and I’ve had trouble sleeping due to the discomfort. I should also mention I did not appreciate the smell of this ironically-named “calming” shampoo & wash. It reminded me of catnip, perhaps with a little Windex thrown in. I think this is the end of my relationship with Burt’s Bees (now Clorox). The photo is from five days after I gave my son a bath; I wish I’d taken a photo on day three or four, when the hives were even worse.
