      Thin – These beautiful pink plates are a fun way to jazz up any boring meals but unfortunately these are rather thin compared to Dixie plates. This will hold light weight items but not anything hearty. You will need to use a couple of them to secure the weight which can get costly considering the price. 5 stars for color and design but 1 star for sturdiness.

      Pretty but flimsy – Gorgeous plate! Bright and happy gold circles. Too bad it’s very flimsy. It might work well holding a PBJ and one potato chip. Any more than one, and it would collapse. A desert plate, perhaps?

      Festive – We purchased the black and gold paper plates for New Years Eve. They are very elegant. The mfg. recommends not using in the microwave due to the gold foil dots. I tired to peel off the gold dots and was not able to. They also offer napkins and other items to round out your tableware. They also offer different colors. Would work any events.

      Standard white and gold paper plates – These paper plates are very pretty, but I wouldn’t use them for serving a hot dinner, especially one with meats that require a knife or are served with gravies. They are of standard paper plate quality and are more suitable for food like burgers, hot dogs, chips, and the like. I originally got them for my dinner party but will probably save them for a bbq instead.

      Pretty – My disabled brother lives with us and eats his meals in his lift chair. He tries to be as independent as possible and like to carry his empty plates out to the sink when he’s done eating. This is difficult for his to do since he uses a walker and has limited use of his right hand. He’s dropped many a plate causing them to shatter which then makes him feel bad. I’ve started using paper ones as much as possible. They’re easier for him to carry because they’re lighter and he usually folds them up and puts them in a pocket and if he does happen to drop them no harm is done. These plates are more festive than regular plain old white one. There not very sturdy so I wouldn’t put more than a sandwich or a couple of cookies on them. But I really prefer them over plain ones. I’d get them again.
