Love the scent – The scent is pleasant and my son likes it. The only thing is the texture is very thin so I’m not sure about the moisturizing function. I trust Cetaphil though so it should be okay.

It soaks in so quickly and baby skin looks plump and dewy and fresh. Baby smells fresh, too. The lotion is yellow in color due to some of the natural ingredients used (calendula, I think).

Great lotion for a dry-skinned baby in cold northern Winters – Let me start by saying, yes, this lotion is a different consistency from what you are used to with other lotions. It is not a big deal, just a little thinner, and a small amount does go a long way. This lotion is a light yellowish color and has a pleasant, mild scent. I am really sensitive to strong scents, as we do not use any scented detergents or perfumes in our home. That being said, I love something that naturally smells nice and is not overpowering, which is a perfect description of this lotion. I was slightly worried about that after reading some reviews, but it was a non-issue.

Thin and yellow, but it worked! – I have been battling eczema with my 7 month old for 4 months now. In our attempt to avoid steroid creams, we have tried several eczema creams including Aveeno, Shea Moisture, Eucerin, Neosporin and TriDerma. We tried the California Baby (CB) products which worked really well, but it was pretty expensive. We purchased this product as an add-on to our order and it arrived before our CB order did. We started using it right away and were thrilled that it worked just as well as the CB and my little girl’s red scaly cheeks are finally starting to clear up. The texture of the lotion is very thin and very yellow. The smell is nice, but a bit strong. I’m so happy to have found this!

Great product, once again cetaphil – Loved this lotion for my 3 year old! I put it on her as soon as she gets out of the bath for maximum moisture. The bottle was a good hefty size which is great because we use it a lot. My only ‘thing’ is that the lotion isn’t a thick lotion, its like liquid coming out. At first I thought maybe it was hot outside when it was delivered so I put it in the fridge, it was still liquidy after 5 hours and then I read that there’s a lot of essential oils in the lotion which will make it a little more liquid then thick lotion. And it absorbs faster that way so that it doesn’t just sit caked on their clothes. I’m so happy cetaphil decided to do a kids version. My daughter has very mild ezcema mostly triggered when there’s low humidity and the body wash and lotion of this brand heal her in one bath. Will be buying again!!!!!!!! The lotion smells nice and soothing by the way, has a very herbal essential oils smell.
