Great product! – I’m interested to know if it’s actually strengthening the iron levels. However! This is the first and only liquid iron that I’ve been able to get my child to take in! We’ve tried vitamins w/iron, the regular liquid iron, and a chocolate flavor one. He wasn’t having it with any of those options. With this one, we just put it in his juice, and he drinks it with no problem!

Taste – My son is 3 yo and he has had low iron levels in the past and this is the only iron supplement he can take without any issues because the taste is decent. I usually give him half or quarter of the dose and I usually give it to him every other day. His iron levels have been great according to his past couple lab tests so I’m happy with the product.

Caution – Do not trust their dosage for infants! The main ingredient the iron is diluted in is glycerin- essentially a laxative for babies. Caused my son to have severe abdominal cramping and diarrhea with every feed for 24 hours. There are far better iron supplements out there with less harsh ingredients and more iron level with a much smaller amount of liquid to take at once for a baby. Do not recommend this product.
