I no longer want to cut off my thumb – I purchased the lotion after seeing reviews about calming skin conditions. I have developed an annoying case of eczema on my thumb. While this isn’t a cure by any means, if I use it a few times a day it definitely reduces my urge to flay the skin off of my thumb. It smells like baby powder but the scent fades quickly which I like. It has been more effective than cortisone cream, CBD salve or aloe cream.

Great for General Moisturizing Not a Skin Condition – I bought this lotion to help my eczema based on a number of reviews, some from other independent sites. I found it more soothing than Cerave and more effective than Eucerin lotion, but it did not get rid of my eczema outbreak. If your condition is under control, I imagine it would be gentler on your hands, and certainly the skin of a child, which is why I’ll continue to buy it. I learned that you’d need an essential oil treatment (Tea Tree and Chamomile, to name two, blended in coconut oil or Aquaphor) to really clear an outbreak such as mine. My hand is nearly healed from that treatment but not from this lotion. Buy this for general moisturizing of your family’s skin.

Eczema sufferers rejoice! – I *only* have Atopic Dermatitis which usually flared up around my mouth during winter. This year, I had flare-ups all over my face up until I started using this moisturizer in July. (I eliminated the rest of my skin care routine – just Cetaphil to cleanse and this) In less than a week, I noticed actual improvement. Within two weeks all the flare-ups had disappeared. I continued using exclusively for a month and my skin looked normal. The last 3 weeks I have returned to my regular skin care routine substituting this for my previous moisturizer and everything is still going well.

Not very moisturizing – It’s not very moisturizing at all. I have to reapply repeatedly in order to feel any kind of moisturizing benefits, which feels like a huge waste of product. The more I apply, the more irritating it feels on my sensitive skin. It also has a lot of fragrance in it. I thought it would be subtle, but it’s pretty strong. I’m disappointed that I can’t return this. It was a waste of money.

Cleared up eczema!!! – I will first say, I purchase from Amazon quite frequently, sometimes several times a week and I have only left handful of reviews unless I find something AMAZING!! I suffer from eczema on my hands, feet and around my hair line on my face. I purchased this lotion at the recommendation of a friend who has a similar situation and has had relief with this lotion. I only started by using on my hands and feet, as I am careful with what I put on my face and noticed the eczema clearing up with in 24 hrs on my hands and with in a few days on my feet!!! I have had success with medicated creams and ointments before but often stop using them because the flareups usually come back and those creams and ointments often leave my skin feeling greasy. This lotion does not!! It completely blends in to the skin with out leaving a greasy residue! I will have to continue to using to see if it keeps flareups at bay, but so far I am VERY impressed!

Bionic noses, beware! – To qualify this review, I am going to admit up front that I’ve not been using it long enough to know whether my eczema or psoriasis flare-ups will be well affected long term. The initial use is promising – it is non-greasy and feels good on the skin. The texture is not too thick nor too thin so it stays on the skin and absorbs well.
