30 sounds – Very easy to use controls. Nice night light feature (and the light output is night light level of output, which is low). I like the on/off switch, red, definitely on or off with a satisfying push. The sounds are okay, but TBF the speaker is quite small in a sacrifice to portability. Still, sounds are distinct enough. Of the 30, most could be useful, with rain being my favorite. This little box can get pretty loud considering its size. Other thoughtful touches are a sturdy belt clip and a rubberized bottom.

There’s a big physical on/off toggle, a light that has two brightness modes (it’s slightly warm, but not super warm. Like 3000K) that is enough for inside a tent or small room, but still dim enough not to bother anyone trying to sleep. Easy timer settings with indicators. Big volume button. Has a built in battery and charges via USB C. One small issue is that if you skip past the noise you want you have to cycle all the way over – there’s no rewind through the noises. But this isn’t a new problem, all sound machines I’ve used have this problem.
