Slight smell and good cooling – The cooling effect works about as expected and there is also a slight smell to it, although that’s not really a problem for me, but it’s worth noting. The stickiness was a bit iffy at times, although I’m not quite sure if that was up to the product or user error.

At first, it was just slightly cooling, but after about 10 minutes it felt more cooling, and it did the trick! I am not sure I would use them on a young child, they seem like they’d be too large, but perhaps on a school-age kid they’d be better.

Much easier to keep on your kid’s forehead than a wet towel – Originally started using the FridaBaby ones which were really good but also expensive. Found these as alternatives and they work good, although not as good as the Frida ones. They are thinner and don’t stay cool as long but still a good inexpensive alternative, we just swap it out more often.

I had read reviews, and it was mentioned to store in the fridge. So what the heck, I did. Got one out, stuck it on my forehead, and about jumped out of the chair. Fridge made it way too cold for me. But once the initial shock wore off, it wasn’t so bad. Definitely cooled me down, though I didn’t wear it for a long time. The hydrogel is very comfortable and the adhesive didn’t bother my skin. I tried cutting the strip what would happen. It stayed gel, didn’t leak. But was a bit sticky

I like how long these patch’s are and if needed you may trim them down to fit area you will be applying. you can actually smell the mint that is in the patch which helps with the healing. the pads stayed very cool for awhile then it felt as if it was no longer cool. these are also great for first aid kits in the car for anytime you need them. The patch’s are also great at staying in place and not needing to readjust.
