8-Month Old Teething + Horrible Rash – My son had gastroenteritis while he was cutting four top teeth. Major diarrhea for about a week that caused him to develop a horrible rash. He rarely has rashes when everything is normal, but we keep the Earth Momma Angel Baby diaper ointment on hand for small breakouts. It works well for us for those occasions. For this rash, EMAB wasn’t doing the trick. So, we tried everything under the sun, but he would just scream during changes and the rash even started to form little areas where the skin was glossy because it was so raw. We finally got his diarrhea under control, but the rash was still awful and he continued to have runny bm’s due to teething. A friend of mine suggested burnt flour. While I was burning flour, I was looking on Amazon for top reviewed rash creams. This was one of them (along with Burt’s Bees). We started giving him baths with baking soda that helped the first night, and we covered him with the burnt flour. He was more comfortable, but the rash wasn’t clearing up very quickly. Thanks to Amazon Prime, we received Dr. Smith’s ointment within two days. We gave him a second bath in baking soda and had used the burnt flour during each diaper change. That night after his bath, we covered him with the ointment. The next morning the rash was almost half gone. My husband starting putting just the ointment on him after every other diaper change because it helped so immensely, but we are still giving him baking soda baths and have gone back to using flour during the day. We use cloth diapers, but we use a disposable at night to hold all of the pee. We have been using disposables whenever we use the ointment in order to avoid needing to strip the diapers (ointment will clog the diapers and they will be less absorptive). I’m not sure if it was the combination of baking soda, baby-safe “powder” (flour), and the ointment, but I can tell you we definitely saw a huge difference. If nothing else is working for you, I highly suggest this ointment!

The best cream ever! – I have 4 kids… and have tried about ever diaper cream out there. This is hands down my favorite diaper cream.

Holy grail of diaper cream – Recommend to us by a friend, was super skeptical that it would actually clear it up babies bum rash as soon as she predicted. Sure enough, to applications in severe rash was gone. We use it once a day and rash hasn’t come back since. Ingredients are a lot cleaner compared to most brands 10/10

The best stuff ever – This is the best stuff ever! My daughter was sick she was 3 months old and she had the worst diaper rash I’ve ever seen! She was bleeding and I’ve tried everything! A&E Destin Butt Paiste baby powder and cornstarch I’ve tried everything so time for the doc to help! They told me to get this! Was told to cake it on her butt before bed! And woke up to no bleeding no redness no screaming Baby! It wasn’t all clear But it was on the 3rd day! It worked wonders for my kids ! I always recommend it!

Creamier than other brands I’ve tried, no scent noticed, relief!! – I’ve tried everything in the house to stop the itch on a rash on my middle back. It is from an allergic reaction to laundry detergent on fabric. I purchased this for another purpose — but decided to try it — and it worked.
