Like magic – This actually works pretty well. Have tested it against more conventional thermometers and it is very close. It was within .2 degrees on my tests which didn’t affect the results. Don’t know how it can detect your temperature without touching but it does. It is very easy to use and in these Covid times is quite handy to have around. The reading is large, and color coded to let you know if there is a problem or not. Green is a go. Added bonus is that it is powered by two AAA batteries which are easy to change.

Pretty solid thermometer. – So. The dog hates it. It’s not meant for dogs so that’s just an observation on my part. I love it. I’m a grown adult enjoying using my new thermometer that I bought so I can make sure I can go to work without getting my coworkers sick. I’ve tried it on the dog, my gaming PC, my husband who didn’t know I bought this and was thoroughly confused, and my own breath to see if I can make it give a red fever reading (I only got it to do that once.) I guess what I’m getting at is that it’s easy enough to use that I found entertainment in it. If you have kids, you know how un-fun it is when they’re sick and they always get each other sick. If you have 2 kids or more, get one of these for each of them and when they get sick have them play fever laser tag. If they get close enough to get the red temp they get a point! Just make sure you set them to silent mode first. That’s super easy though, just one button click! It did come with batteries too!

Great thermometer – After a few months of use, the thermometer is one of the best no-touch models that I’ve used. It’s light and fits in large and small hands. The screen is bright with large text, and provides a color background based on the temperature recorded. It’s quick: like half a second quick. As far as accuracy: OK, it’s not a calibrated, laboratory-grade piece of equipment. But once you know your baseline temperature, it can easily and properly tell you when you’re elevated. It even has a 30-measure memory.

Single mother – What I loved the most was the colored lights. My daughter was running fever but wanted to stay under covers. When I showed her that she was in red and needed to be in green she understood and would get out from under the covers. It reads the temp so fast which is also great. The mute option was good since I was constantly checking her temp while she was sleeping

Simple and straight forward!!! – I have used many types of digital thermometers over the years, even expensive thermal scanning one at work for taking preschooler’s temperatures. I purchased this based on other reviews and I have to say that it is pretty nice and well worth $20.00. I like that it has colors for temperature ranges. This also makes it easy to see and read in any light. We are all older teens and adults in our house and had been using a digital oral thermometer that needed washed every time someone used it. This forehead model makes sure that we aren’t spreading germs quite as easily. Time will tell how long it will last, but I am quite impressed so far.

It reads about a degree lower than an oral reading – I purchased this thermometer for its ease of use and the reviews. It is easy to read, large numbers and clear screen. It says it beeps when the reading is complete. I found this hard to hear but my wife says she heard it but it is soft. We also bought a digital thermometer which reads both oral and rectal. We took readings with both items. The forehead thermometer read about a degree lower than the oral thermometer. We took 5 readings. Be sure to have the forehead thermometer less than 1.5 inches from the person to get the best results.
