I HATE the way this food is packaged! PLEASE CHANGE THE PACKAGING!!! – I use baby food to make soft dog food for my elderly chihuahua. He seems to like the flavor of most of the items. My main issue is opening each baby food item without making a mess in the process. It’s difficult to grab ahold of an edge willing to pull away from hard plastic container; and once you do find a corner that release, get ready to get “spit” on with the inside ingredients when the package opens! I have settled on using a knife to cut the top open, aiming the cut AWAY from me so that the mess lands on the easy to clean countertop instead. However, the dog enjoys it and it is easy for him to eat as part of his nutritional regimen.

A supplement to a soft diet – It’s not just for babies you know . Recently someone in our home was ill and unable to eat solid food for a while . I was making soups daily but knowing a 200 pound adult man needed some real food I bought this to add to my soups to make them more nourishing . It really helped him get through a tough week . All is well today and my patient is back to eating solid foods again. It’s not a life saving drug but it is a way to add vitamins to give energy and substance to the diet .
