Works really well – This is really easy to use and is pretty accurate. Works on baby’s, children and adults. It’s easy to take the cover off to use the ear thermometer. It automatically switches from forehead reader to ear reader when you take the cover off. You can also turn the sound on and off.

I have a black no-name one, not bad, and an iHealth like clone with ear reading, then this one. The ear and contactless combos all operate the same, the cap for the ear piece is magnetic, and uses a HAL like sensor that when removed activates ear mode.
