Simple Ingredients, a Bit Thinner Than Other Purees – My only minor complaints about this are the price (about $2.50 per packet at the time of this review) and the consistency is a bit runnier than the other foods we use. Other than that, my (sometimes picky) kid doesn’t bat an eye at these– we were able to work them into our usual rotation of foods without any issues whatsoever. He’s never rejected this flavor, though he doesn’t always finish these completely– so I’d say these are alright.

Great product but a bit pricey.. – I had never heard of Holle until recently so I figured we’d give it a try. We typically stick to organic products and this seemed to be a reputable one. As far as the taste goes, my little one loved it. As far as the price goes…a bit steep. The price currently sets each pouch at about $3 each. Compared to some other organic pouch brands you can get, that’s really expensive! I’m not sure I’d actually purchase these, there’s just too many other more affordable ones out there.

another great Holle product, just make sure to check manufactured and expiration dates – We do like Holle products in our household. Our little one has had their baby formulas and loves it. We’ve also had another variety of their baby food pouches, which again, he loved. I was a little worried with this beet flavor, but he ate one entire pouch for breakfast in no time! I was surprised at how quickly he devoured these, as I didn’t think this would be a popular flavor. This one has 11g of sugar, which isn’t too much but could always be less. These are made in Italy. We are happy with this flavor.

Thinner consistency – My daughter is 15 months old and we have always kept a couple pouches in our diaper bag for easy and healthy-ish snacks when we are out and about. I was attracted to these as I know Holle makes great quality products, and because we don’t get much beet in my daughter’s diet otherwise and variety is always good. She seemed to like these pouches and sucked them right down without hesitation. I tried a little and found the flavor pleasant but definitely earthy (beets). The consistency is noticeably thinner than other pouches in our rotation (and is described as “juice”, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing, but could lead to more spills/squirts if a younger baby is self-feeding.

Son likes it – Overall my son likes this one. He doesn’t love it, but he will eat it. The ingredients are great and it’s a brand I trust. I recommend giving it a try!

3.5 stars – I’m overall satisfied with this product. One reason I chose this one in particular is that it includes vegetables in the formula and pretty well received.

My son approved! – My son still eats these “baby food” pouches and the applesauce in pouches. If it gets him fruits and veggies- im all about it! He enjoyed these. I don’t eat these, but these did smell so much better than some of the other ones he eats. M
