Instructions were a little hard to follow – The thermometer was simple to turn on, but it was difficult to get a reading at first, I feel like they made it harder than it needed to be. After I navigated the instructions and figured out how to actually take a temperature it did work well. We will be using this as our primary thermometer at home now.

Pretty Accurate – Super Easy Readings – Easy to use, has a large digital reading, so it’s pretty straight forward. The thermometer cap cover is magnetic and just automatically clips to the ear part of it. That’s nifty.

Easy to use, quick and accurate – I was very impressed with this thermometer. I took my temp multiple times to see if it varied and it gave consistent readings that agreed with my old oral thermometer. It came with two lithium batteries and maybe I’m being overly cautious, but I probably won’t store the batteries in it when not in use. Generally, lithium batteries will not leak electrolyte or any other chemical materials under normal conditions although they can. There are many reasons why a lithium-ion battery might start to leak and this unit it just too nice to for me to take that chance. It also came with a nice travel case and extra probe covers. There is a switch that allows you to turn the sound off, although I don’t know why you would want to do that? It beeps once when ready and once when the reading is complete. It was super-fast, so much faster than waiting for my digital oral thermometer!
