All three thermometers have been one to one and a half degrees off.The beeper is so faint that you have to concentrate very intensely listening for it. Weird that when the beeper goes off it will read anywhere from 96.0 to 97.5, but If I leave it in my mouth for a another 2-3 minutes the temperature continues to increase until it arrives at my true temp. Usually 98.0 to 98.6 Why is the beeper going off if the temperature reading is still going up? The only good thing About this thermometer is that it only cost 7.95
