Favorite toy – This is actually our second phone because after two years of ownership my son left his first one at Lowes he is almost 3 now and has enjoyed this phone so much and now my one year old is equally fascinated by itl. It’s not overly stimulating and obnoxious with just enough features that keep them happy and occupied for extended lengths of time (car rides, at home, doctor visits, etc.) I highly recommend it as a gift for 1 year and up. Huge hit!

Cute phone but not for a 4 year old – The LeapFrog Chat and Count Emoji Phone is a cute phone with different play options. My grandson is 4 and it’s a little too babyish for him. I thought the emoji function would be more like a regular cell phone but the emojis on this phone just float by on the screen. There’s no real chat option with the “Scout” character on the phone. The activities on the phone are definitely for babies and young toddlers. I’m a bit disappointed but my grandson is happy to put it in the doctor kit I just purchased for him on Amazon which didn’t have one.
