Great Shampoo for Black babies with curls – I love this brand I originally bought the cradle cap foam shampoo for my daughter when she was an infant. I then bout this one once she hit 10 months. I love it and noticed the difference in her curls. I ran out of the foam and began using her baby magic 2 in 1 for her hair in the mean and in between time and her hair was dry and just not how I would prefer it. I got this bottle in and used it her hair is nice and soft curls are back hydrated and her hair smells AMAZING! I love this shampoo. My baby is completely black and I definitely recommend it for other moms.

Totally Tear Free and Non Irratating – I am a senior citizen who has cataracts that require surgery. My dr advised me to place a baby washcloth,in very warm water and then squeeze it well, place over both eyes for 4-5 minutes. He then said to put a drop of baby shampoo on the washcloth and gently rub the base of both upper and lower lashes. I have light blue eyes that are easily irritated.Evidently, blue eyes tend to get a little crusty. Who knew? I followed the dr’s directions. This shampoo did not irritate my eyes one iota! I was very surprised. I also do not rub my eyes anymore as was my habit my entire life.

The scent is wonderful! – I used to use this shampoo on my babies and now that they are all grown still use it on myself because the smell is so good. It is very mild so this is best for people who frequently wash or have thin fine hair. I normally wash first with a regular shampoo bar (unscented) and then follow with this one, letting it sit so that the scent stays. I have all their products and on top of their smells they are great for your skin, they nourish and do leave the skin baby soft.

My daughter has such curly hair (guess, my husband’s Sicilian heritage) and my son has mostly straight hair with waves. From day 1 I used their foam shampoo for cradle cap (they never had it, maybe just happened or maybe cause of shampoo) I bought few shampoo brands for my daughter specifically “for curls” and they didn’t perform as good as this avocado shampoo. Felt like I put hair conditioner already, her hair was very soft. I still put lay on conditioner after.
