Good for a baby or small child. – This doesn’t appear to work on my fingernails. They may be too hard. I can see where this may be great for use on a baby or small child.

Good product but battery breaks… – Bought to cut my kids nails. Worked great for a while but after about a year the internal battery wouldn’t charge. Pretty disappointing that it’s another throw away electronic device.

Nice but – My grandfather hates the vibration he feels when we tried it on his nails , also it will take more time to cut a nail with it. This tool might be better to use as filing tool only not cuting

A little slow. But does the job – If you have long nails it will take a while to file down, however it works fine. To keep short nails trim it’s perfect. I actually like it and use it regularly to keep nails in check.

If you hate filing your nails, this will probably be perfect for you – I have dermatillomania (it is a skin picking disorder), so I have to constantly keep my nails very short all the time. That, however, can be very hard to do for so many reasons. The fact that this allowed me to quickly file my nails down without damaging my skin or hurting myself has made things so much easier. It’s essentially a more compact nail grinder. So if you’re looking to trim your nails a LOT, I would suggest cutting them first with a regular nail clipper, then using this product to finish it off otherwise you will be sitting there for a lot longer than you want to. It takes a bit of practice, but once you get the hang of it, it is very easy to smooth the nails down so there are no sharp edges. This does not feel like a product that you can use to style/shape your nails, so if that is your intention, you will want to try something else. This is solely for trimming and keeping nails at a reasonable length.

Great for fingernails; not so great for toenails. – At least for me, the clipper here did a great job on my fingernails, but my toe nails are thick and curve in at the corners and this thing just doesn’t seem to be able to cut through the big-toe toenail especially, and couldn’t quite get into the corners. It did OK enough, I suppose, but I was really hoping for something for my toenails more than my hands. All things considered, though, I think it’s a great product and I will certainly keep using it for my fingernails and try to see if I get figure out if there’s any magical way to do a better job on my toenails. Maybe I’m doing something wrong there.
