Bitter taste – My daughter is a stubborn thumb sucker but for other children this may work! It’s extremely bitter. My daughter knows it tastes bad and just suffers the taste. It makes her drool profusely. my only complaint would be the directions don’t say how much to apply. I coated her thumb the first time and only tasted it myself afterwards, feeling terrible I put so much on her.

I tasted it myself to see what magic potion caused this reaction and it’s disgusting but if it works, I’m a believer! If you are at wits end with the thumb sucking, I say try it. The first time I used I may have used to much, it made her throw up. Once I started to use it correctly it worked as said in the description. She doesn’t like the taste at all, hopefully she won’t need it after the new year.
