Smells so good – Smells wonderful and you only need a small amount! Leaves a wonderful smell in her hair even after it’s dry and it does a nice job cleaning without drying out her hair.

Great for my daughter! – I took my 4 year old daughter for her first haircut and the stylist advised me to do some research to find a gentle hydrating shampoo. I had been using honest kids and socozy but they were drying her hair out leaving it a tangled mess. Literally after using the shampoo, conditioner and leave in conditioner spray ONE TIME I could feel the difference in her hair. Her hair was soft and tangle free. The products are light and hydrating. They lather well and did not weigh her hair down. The only thing that turned me off right away was the scent. It is baby powder. I truly thought it might be a deal breaker for me. But it does rinse out and is very minimal after washing. Over all I really like this product.

Can’t get past the awful fragrance – Not reading the label more closely was a terrible and expensive mistake. I thought this was unscented! Honestly, I can’t imagine washing a baby’s hair in this heavily perfumed shampoo. But does it work? Is it truly extra gentle on sensitive skin? Who knows. It’s in the garbage and made a satisfying clunk when it landed there.

Creme Douce scent nauseating – and attracts wasps – This review is for the creme douce scent version of the product (not the lavender one). At first, the scent doesn’t seem that strong when just sniffing the bottle, but once you use it, the smell is more potent. The perfume fills the room and it clings hard. 24 hours later, the smell is still going strong. Having to smell it for a full day, it is nauseating, truly. One additional danger … is it attracts wasps. Walking outside, wasps were flying up to closely inspect the hair with this scent clinging to it; Not good. I would not use this on babies and children, nor on anyone who has a wasp sting allergy either. As a shampoo, it functioned reasonably well, it made the hair clean, it did not dry the hair; but it did not function nearly as well as other reviews report. It added no shine and while curls were soft they blurred together. (Used both the shampoo and the spray too. Spray was less useful than the shampoo.) Both will be returned.
