There are plenty of different sound options to chose from, and controlling the volume is easy. Once charged, the battery lasts a good while depending on how much you use it. Does not hold a charge for long – We bought this to help our baby calm and sleep. It also helps us sleep better! I love that I can clip it to the car seat or swing or even the side of the bassinet or crib, it’s so portable however that’s where the portability stops. It will not go all night without being plugged in and the loud beeping it makes to let you know that the battery is low will absolutely wake up your baby in the most irritating way. But if you’re able to keep it plugged in then it’s perfect. There is a wide variety of sounds and volume. The night light is pretty much useless, it’s not really bright enough to see anything.

The various sounds are nice although after finding one we hardly ever use the others. Volume level options work great. The controls are fairly straight forward. Battery life has been great for us we’ve used it for 6+ hour days without any need to charge. It works while plugged in and uses USB C – same as our phones so no need to worry about forgetting the charger. All in all I’d highly recommend this sound machine.
