Better than expected – I was looking for a night light with lullabies that wasn’t so “babyish” for my 6 year old. Most night lights were advertised as white noise machines. I wasn’t sure how he would react to bird or thunderstorm noises. Although this one is a white noise machine, it also has lullaby music (with and without singing). Turned out that he like both the lullabies and noises! Plus we brought it on vacation and it lasted all 4 days without a charge. The only “issue” is that some buttons have different functions depending on if you press it quickly or hold it down. Just takes some getting used to. Very happy with this purchase.

Defective charging – Charging cable that came with the device is defective. The battery indicator light flickered on and off randomly when the cord was plugged in. I was unable to charge the sound machine right out of the box. I had to go get another cord that was compatible with the port to use it. It was an additional, unexpected expense to add to the price of this product.
