Good but not Great – My 15 month old actually likes mint toothpaste, and I don’t really want to give her banana or berry flavored toothpaste. This stuff is good and passable, but there’s really no flavor here. I was hoping for a little mintiness, but it’s just a mild, vague sweet gel with little to no flavor. She accepts it, but doesn’t enjoy it so brushing time is greatly shortened before she swats it away.

Toddler Approved – Perfect training toothpaste. Invite your child to join you, and model your morning and nightly oral care routine. This product enables them to safely practice brushing and spitting before transitioning to another toothpaste. Make it a big thing to give them a tooth brush, eventually give them 1-2 and let them choose, then leave the other in storage for next time, so they can look forward to it. Once their teeth start to touch and catch food, you can start flossing them. After they gain confidence with the toothbrush, them explore with floss, and also gargling. Follow a consistent patentor when brushing, like top left to right, bottom left to right, tongue, floss, gargle, rinse with fresh water. It’s a joyous journey, just keep modeling and smiling. Fluoride free!

Best toothpaste ever- kid and adult – Best toothpaste ever! Tastes like nothing! I got the original, and haven’t tried any others. My daughter was so unhappy brushing her teeth because of the taste. I have tons of kids toothpaste (next best one is ‘not yucky grape’, check it out, it’s more of a gel toothpaste, thicker than this one). This one is amazing! Zero taste and no weird texture.

my daughter likes the taste and no sugar/chemicals – My daughter is 3 and still can’t figure out how to spit, so she swallows the toothpaste. I did not like the idea of giving her toothpaste with sugar or chemical sweeteners, since she swallows and sometimes eats the toothpaste when I am not looking. Xylitol is a natural sweetener. Some claim that Xylitol has antibacterial qualities, but my dentist says that you need to use more than the average person can handle for the qualities to be effective. He still recommends Xylitol as a great alternative to sugar in toothpaste and even lollipops. My daughter loves the taste.
