Terrible smell, works like a charm! – I got this at the end of my rope dealing with a needy, attached almost 18 month old toddler who couldn’t LIVE without munching on the boob pretty much every hour, including waking up multiple times in the night to nurse. I was just DONE, but couldn’t imagine detaching her off without having a constant nuclear meltdown at home, given how attached she was to my ta-tas. So, on her 18 month old birthday, I put it on in the afternoon after letting her nurse in morning. Her first attempt to latch with the sucker buster on led to the most tucked out face. She immediately chose to move on and get some food and water. You’ll want to make sure to have water and food available. But she’s persistent, so I knew she would go for it again, seeing if the flavor eased. So I had to make sure to secretly re-apply the stinky solution throughout the following 3-5 days. There were a couple times she gave a little cry of sadness when I wouldn’t give her the boob, but when I finally gave it to her, the flavor stopped her and she would move on quickly. This created the least fighting between me and her that I could imagine.
