Easy to use but takes awhile to get temp – It’s takes 30 secs or so to register the temp. I am not in a hurry so it’s fine but if you are looking for instant feedback this isn’t for you. I am not sure of the accuracy. I hope it’s accurate.

Bought for pandemic – When the pandemic began, I realized I didn’t have a thermometer at home so I went online to find one since the local stores had already been ransacked of so many things. This shows its for babies, but its a thermometer. It’ll do just fine for me if/when I need it…the only issue I had was it took a couple of MONTHS to receive, but again, with the pandemic, I wasn’t surprised, just frustrated with all the issues of shipping delays, huge out of stock issues, etc You get what you can get and feel thankful you got what you got! Stay safe

This is what you are looking for. – This one works! I tred 2 other brands from Amazon I never heard of before that were highly rated with hundreds of positive reviews that turned out to be junk. Seems to be lots of false reviews, taking advantage of the demand. The name brand that starts with a V is always sold out, so I was looking for something comperable. These red cross thermometers read within 0.1 degF of the V thermometer and between two red cross thermometers. Repeat measurements are the same or 0.1 degF different. I use the under arm method. Just got it today, so can’t speak to durability. Bought two more for family use at different places. These will sell out for sure.

Maybe it works? – Why is it SO difficult to find a simple digital thermometer that actually works? Most of these are trash. Now we have three of this type and we use all three when someone is sick and then make a guess. So far, this one seems to be fairly accurate – but then, how would we know? I hope this one works for a while – at least until we’re over the pandemic.

Accuracy! – I have had a few thermometers over the years. This has been the most accurate readings and lasted the longest. I had my last one for 14 years so came back and ordered a few more!

Seems to work fine, but a little finicky detecting the ear canal – Came from a Braun in ear thermometer we received as a baby shower gift. It lasted about 5 years until it just stopped working one day. I bought this red cross one as a replacement. Yes, the Braun ear probe covers fit, but they don’t lock into place. You just have to hold it with your index finger as you use it, which honestly works fine and not troublesome at all. We still have a lot of the Braun probe covers so I’m glad we can still use it with this and it doesn’t seem to impact the readings.

Baby Thermometer – Doesn’t work under the tongue very well, but accurate enough under the arm if you didn’t have anything else.

inexpensive and works good enough for all ages – The First Years American Red Cross Multi-Use Digital Thermometer is wider than I am used to but it still does the job placing it under the left or right side of the tongue. THis is for adults too but is wider with flexible tip for added comfort for young children.
