Best Boo-Boo Bear Ever – We have had one of these for our kids for several years and it has been a huge help for boo-boos both as a cold compress and as a psychological boost. We’ve never used the heat function. Our bear lives in the freezer in a plastic bag and comes out to help when needed (which is pretty often with active young kids). When my niece came over my sister saw how helpful it was, so we got her one for Christmas. This has been a fantastic product for us and is still in great shape after 3-4 years of heavy use. Easy to clean and still looks almost new.

Best Bear for Self Care – I got this little guy on the onset of my menstrual cycle, as I’ve always had issues with severe pain. Even at 25, stuffed animals give me a comfort I can’t really explain. This little guy helped me more than I expected when I had a rough weekend, AND helped comfort me through the double whammy that was COVID that came the same time. The only thing I wish was optional was a scent or a type of aromatherapy to aid in the healing, but nevertheless I am very satisfied and have already purchased one for a friend who is chronically ill, to stay by their side when they don’t feel well also.

I found this is a good weight for when my sinuses hurt or I have the type of migraine that needs heat. The slight weight puts enough pressure to hold the heat “down”.

We had one of those other ones before getting this one. The super plush ones, although scented, do not retain and transfer heat very well (think of microwaving a normal stuffed animal) while this brand has more the weight and feel of a therapy wrap you might buy for an adult and the outer material is a terry cloth fabric so that you can actually feel the heat (as opposed to the other brands where you can barely feel anything through the thick plush). Also the terry cloth means that you can spot clean these easier. Definitely the best out there of its kind.
