Very portable! – We love these sound machines for traveling. Very portable and the volume control is great. Definitely read the directions though and unplug and shut off every so often or it will quit working.

Easy to use, subpar ocean sound – I LOVE this sound machine. It’s fantastic. The buttons make it super easy to control, even in the dark. My only con for this item is the ocean sound has too much volume variability between when the wave is the loudest and when it fades out into the next wave. I think the thing I don’t like the most is how quiet (nearly silent) it gets between waves. But the white noise sound is great and works super well to help our newborn sleep.

Better than a fan – Nice white noise, easy to follow directions with the exception that a magnifying glass was needed to read the .0012 font. I guess that was needed for the 28 languages printed on the insert. But all in all it accomplishes what I wanted, white noise for sleep.

5 months of working…… then suddenly stoped. But it is working again! – 5 months of working…… did the trouble shooting suggestions….. still not working. Great item until it suddenly stopped. I changed my review from a 2 to this 5. The machine started working again! How? Why? No idea – it is still the best portable I have used.

Good, not great – I am very torn about how to feel for this product. The sound and volume are GREAT. However, the battery life is NOT what I thought. It’s very finicky and short lived. I was hoping that I could use this for my newborn during an upcoming 6 hour car ride, but it doesn’t seem like the battery would make it that long.

device is short-lived – I do like the sound of this product and it is great for traveling. However, I have had this device for a little over three years and it has died. I only use it when traveling (about once a month) so it seems it should have lasted longer.

Helpful for when the power goes out – Our power in town kept cutting off and on due to weather. Our little one sleeps with a fan (for sound), so it kept turning off and on, waking her up. With this, I was able to keep it plugged in and on as a faux fan all night and if the power went out it would just switch to it’s batter use and continue humming without pause, so she could sleep uninterrupted. Then we could take the same fan on trips, so she always has the same fan sound to sleep to. It is small and portable. There is an Arctic snowstorm high pitch windlike sound, a deep hum, and an ocean like sound. The volume controls let you make it very quiet or pretty loud. There is a yellow light that pulses different speeds to tell you it’s battery life. I had to cover the light with a blanket, so she wouldn’t notice it. The battery drain speed depends on the volume that you use. I had a higher volume on, since cars outside can be noisy and the sound machine was distanced from her enough that the extra volume was needed, so the sound machine could not run all night without staying plugged in. It could remain unplugged for long naps though.
